Proverbs 2

What would you do? The wisdom of the Lord. In this chapter it tells the reader to search for her as hidden treasure. I've imagined many things I've searched and looked for. Money in the cushions of the couch. Bills in a drawer that doesn't have much space. I remember the feeling that i had when i was looking. It was a feeling of "I got to find this". When i think about this chapter it looks like we are to recreate that feeling. We must get wisdom and we must get understanding for all of life's issues. So much comes at us daily. How are we to respond to the pressures and stress of life. In another part of the chapter, there is a verse that commands us to "Follow the example of Good People". It is so easy to follow the foolish or evil when things are out of whack in your life. For example, your wife doesn't have sex with you. Well, you decide since she won't do her wifely duties you will go seek comfort elsewhere. It may be another woman. Or it may be pornography and masturbation because that wouldn't be too bad. In your mind you feel justified all because your wife's not doing what she's supposed to do. However, that is not the wisdom of God. That is not how God wants you to handle the situation. I don't know the answer but He has the wisdom along with understanding to go with it to help us. That's why we must seek Him.
