This is my initial blog. I'm new to this whole thing but feel it is a way for me to grow as a Christian. It is a way for me to talk about the scripture i just read. So here it go's.
Proverbs 1 offered insight on a couple of things for me. First, in verse twenty-seven of chapter 1 it talks about the calamity of the fool. It talks about the panic, terror, or fear that come when people don't use wisdom. I've never seen a description such as this. In verse 28, it say's "they will seek me early and diligently, but they will not find me." I've thought about a couple of times myself when I've done foolish things. Sometimes we'll buy a car that we don't need, or it may be a particular item. Sometimes we will make choices that are contrary to sound wisdom. Only to have these decisions not pan out. It's crazy but it makes me want to listen more than i have before. My prayer today is God, help me to follow you and your voice alone. Even in the smallest minute items of life. Failure to do so can be tragic.
